For my letter of note of history I had Malcolm X’s letter to MLK Jr in 1963. He wrote King about the struggle the African Americans community is facing, disunity. He writes how in the community, they have faced so many outside forces, racism, sexism, and poverty that run through the black community because of white oppression over black people . Malcolm X was asking King to come to a summon rally funded by black Muslims in the community, along with our communities leaders in the community to come together to talk and bring solutions to the Issues they face not debate and argue.
Even today in the black community we are highly divided which is not directly our fault but it is directed our fault because we still stay against one another than with each other. “A racial explosion is more destructive than a nuclear explosion. This is true, he saw the signs of race war and not the cult version idea of a race war, but the division within the black community that would lead to our foe winging.
Rally was for black leaders of the nation to come together to discuss not argue not debt but talk about the issues and solutions the community can make to unity. Stating how JFK jr and Former Premier of the Soviet Union Khrushchev could come together despite their political differences why can’t the black community?
